1. Test your supplies and techniques first. Your cardstock may be too thick or too thin for the techniques you want to use - test them before you start making your cards to avoid frustration later.
2. Match your base colour to a colour in your main image. E.g. if you’re using a grey bunny image that has a pink nose, use pink cardstock. This helps keep your colour palette consistent and gives your creations a professional air.
3. Repurpose your paper scraps. Use a craft punch to create shapes from the paper you’ve used on the front, continuing your theme on the inside.
4. Combine techniques for further interest. Two or three techniques often look the best as it stops the card from looking flat whilst avoiding a card from becoming too busy.
