Recipe 1: Shamrocker

This straightforward yet flavourful recipe boasts a beautiful green colouring with a fun fruity taste. This recipe creates one cocktail at a time, so multiply accordingly for bigger servings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 ounces of Silver Tequila
  • 1 and 1/2 ounces of Melon Liqueur
  • 1 ounce of Triple Sec
  • Splash of Orange Juice
  • Orange Slices (For Garnish)

Method:

1. Pour the Silver Tequila, Melon Liqueur, Triple Sec, and Orange Juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

2. Shake well and strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass.

3. Garnish with an Orange Slice, then serve.

St Patricks Day Cocktails

Recipe 2: Guinness and Green

Perfect for those that love shots, this charming cocktail recipe is sure to become a firm favourite in no time this St. Patrick's Day. Taking slightly longer than the others, but still only 30 minutes to prepare, this refreshing recipe creates up to 28 individual servings.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of Guinness
  • 4 tbsp Unflavoured Gelatin
  • 1/4 cup of Irish Whiskey
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of Hot Water (Divided)
  • 1/2 cup of Irish Cream
  • Green Food Colouring

Method:

1. Pour the Guinness into a mixing bowl and add in 3 tablespoons of the gelatin. Leave to rest for approximately 2 minutes.

2. Add in the Irish Whiskey and 1 cup of hot water. Stir thoroughly until the gelatin has completely dissolved.

3. Distribute equally into shot glasses. Ensure you leave enough room for the second layer to be added.

4. Place and leave to refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.

5. In a new mixing bowl, add in the Irish Cream and add in the remaining tablespoon of gelatin. Leave to rest for approximately 2 minutes.

6. Add in 1/2 a cup of hot water and stir thoroughly until fully dissolved.

7. Add about 4 drops of green food colouring and stir well. If the colour is not as strong as desired, add more drops to intensify if needed.

8. Slowly pour the Irish Cream mixture on top of the partially set Guinness jelly.

9. Place and leave to refrigerate for approximately 2 to 3 hours before consuming.

Recipe 3: Irish Tea Party

Refreshing and perfect for serving on mass, this charming cocktail is sure to go down a treat! Taking only 3 minutes to prepare and to serve, this desirable recipe creates just 1 cocktail at a time, so again, be sure to multiply accordingly for greater servings.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 ounce of Absinthe
  • 1 ounce of Irish Whiskey
  • 4 ounces of Green Tea (Sweetened and Chilled)
  • Lime Slices (For Garnish)

Method:

1. Pour the Absinthe into your chosen cocktail glass. Make sure you both tilt and rotate the glass as you pour to help coat the inside of the glass.

2. Once filled, tip the glass so that the Absinthe reaches the rim of the glass. Continue to swirl so that the rim is also coated with Absinthe.

3. After completely coating the glass, pour away the Absinthe from inside the glass.

4. If desired, add a couple ice cubes to the glass. Pour the Irish Whiskey (over the ice) into the glass.

5. Pour in the Green Tea, add the Lime Slice garnish and serve.
