Like a lot of Draper tools this tape measure is very robust. The measuring tape is thick and easy to read, and it locks itself which is a nice feature if you're measuring a long distance on your own. It retracts quickly but it doesn't feel unsafe when doing so. As this is an 8 metre tape measure in a tough plastic casing it is too large to fit into your pocket so bear that in mind when ordering online.
