Different Methods

The simplest way to make ice cream is using an ice cream maker. An ice cream maker will allow you to add the ingredients and do all the hard work for you.

Another method is combining your ingredients with a whisk (an electric whisk will make this step easier), placing the mixture in your freezer and then checking on it every 30 minutes to stir it well to ensure ice crystals don’t form.

An alternative to this is to use frozen fruit. You can buy packs of frozen fruit from most supermarkets or freeze fresh fruit at home. Add the frozen fruit, double cream and icing sugar into a blender and serve immediately or put in the freezer for later.
