How to put up a corner shelf
Corner shelves are easy to put up yourself! Simply follow these steps:
- Mark where you want your shelf to be with a pencil
- Check you aren’t drilling into any hidden wires
- Drill holes into your marks and push in the wall plugs until they are flush with the wall
- Line up the shelf, or its brackets, with the holes and screw in tightly
How do I know if a corner shelf will fit?
Most standard corner shelves are designed for 90-degree angles. However, before you buy, you can measure the length of both of your walls from the corner outward with a measuring tape. Make sure there are no light switches or door frames around the space, and that a standing unit won’t block any windows or heaters.
