A heat powered stove fan is a useful and innovative accessory that can improve the efficiency of your stove while also distributing warm air evenly throughout your home. These fans are designed to run solely on the heat generated by your stove, making them a cost effective heating solution. One of the main benefits of a heat powered stove fan is that it can help to reduce energy bills. By improving the efficiency of your stove and preventing heat from being concentrated in one area, a stove fan can help to spread warmth throughout your home more effectively. This means that you may not need to run your heating system as often, which can lead to significant energy savings over time. Fan dimensions: Height 16.3cm. Width 15.1cm. Depth 9cm Heat powered stove fans are also ideal for those who want to reduce their environmental impact. Because these fans run solely on the heat generated by your stove, they do not require any additional energy to operate. This means that you can enjoy a warm and comfortable home without contributing to the carbon emissions associated with traditional heating methods. Another benefit of heat powered stove fans is that they require very little maintenance. Because they do not have any electrical components or moving parts, they are easy to use and do not need to be serviced or repaired on a regular basis. This can help to extend the life of your stove by reducing wear and tear on the unit. Heat powered stove fans are available in a range of different designs and styles, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs and preferences. This six blade fan can help to distribute warm air more efficiently in larger living spaces. The pack also includes a red magnetic stove thermometer which monitors your stove temperature to optimise performance and protect your stove from overheating. It clearly displays the temperature of your stove, enabling you to maintain a safe and efficient operating temperature and reduce fuel consumption. Simply place the thermometer on the top, front, or side of a flat or curved surface. The built in magnet will maintain its hold on steel up to temperatures of around 800 degrees Fahrenheit or 425 Degrees Centigrade. The optimum position is on the flue collar, or if not practical, as close to the collar as possible for a stable reliable place for monitoring the stove and flue gas temperature. It is suitable for use with most vitreous enamel, iron or steel flue pipes. For stainless steel flue applications do not attempt to fix to flue pipe, attach to the stove collar or place on the stove top. Finally, the pack includes a Moisture Meter which is used to ensure you get the best burn from your fuel. Our newest model not only has a backlight screen to illuminate the reading but the built in colour change technology indicates the moisture level of the firewood. It is an essential tool for any fireplace owner. Fuel quality is the single most important aspect of making a successful fire. To burn effectively the moisture content of firewood needs to be less than 20 per cent, whether its being used in an open fire or a stove. Freshly felled timber can have a moisture content of between 30per cent and 60per cent, which when burnt can cause dangerous creosote build up in chimneys. Using a moisture meter is a great way to check whether your wood will give you a safe and efficient burn, or if it needs further seasoning. The screen will glow green if your fuel contains less than 20per cent moisture, indicating that its ready to go. The new Valiant moisture meter can also be used in timber, floors and buildings in order to detect and measure moisture content.
