The Beaphar Dog Toothpaste is liver flavoured and offers daily protection for your pet's teeth. The paste counteracts plaque and prevents the formation of tartar, resulting in fresher breath. To improve the palatability of the paste, and make brushing more acceptable to your pet, a meaty flavour has been added to the formulation. Super easy to use, let your dog familiarise itself with the paste. Apply a small amount onto your finger, and let your dog lick it off. Wet the toothbrush and apply a little bit of paste to the bristles and let your dog taste it again. Only brush a few canines and molars during this first treatment and we recommend reassuring your dog while doing so. As the gums are more sensitive around the incisors, you should leave those teeth until the next brushing. Build this up and until you brush all the teeth and your dog is happy. Always have a bowl of fresh drinking water available after brushing and voila, clean teeth!
