Are outdoor rugs waterproof?

Outdoor rugs are specifically designed to tolerate poor weather conditions. Typically, plastic and acrylic materials absorb moisture better than an indoor carpet or mat. Whilst they aren’t totally waterproof, they are water-resistant and can therefore be left outside during rainy weather.

What size garden rug do I need?

The size of the garden rug you need entirely depends on the surface area you wish to cover. If you have a large outdoor dining set, choose an under-table rug that allows for all chair legs to fit on the rug. Our largest rugs are 200 x 300cm on average, so there’s plenty to choose from if you want a bigger rug.

Alternatively, smaller garden rugs fit nicely in doorways and narrow spaces. Pick an 80 x 150cm rug if this is what you’re looking for.
